How do I order one of these without sounding boujie?

Finals Week is officially over (woohoo!) and I’ve realized that I’ve totally failed to keep up with the beauty routine. It all started during a last-minute ultra fast pace Photoshoot for ShopJeen.com’s first lookbook where I was doing hair and makeup without my grand collection of cosmetic weapons (eek!!). So I was forced to find alternatives to the following:

-concealer
-face primer
-lip liner (for red lip application!)
-hair texturizer/fly-away diffuser
-blush

I’m pretty sure at one point I used body lotion as lip stain remover. Slabbing some gross-tasting lotion & dabbing with toilet paper? Not the chicest but we made it work! The photos look great.

Anyway, I realize this post is only a lame mental note of the time investment I need to put back into the beauty of my Tumblr. And since finals are officially over, grades are in, and break is approaching I will catch up my digital footprint with all the pedicures it’s been missing.

Last night was my first time at Joint Custody in Adams Morgan. My friend Ali had claimed mayorship a few weeks ago and has been promoted to Governor of this 18th St. consignment shop as of last night .

She still refuses to believe that no one really cares all that much. I guess we will just let her be.

Yesterday I found out that stylist, Kyle Anderson has just moved from ELLE to Marie Claire’s Accessories Director. After creating Aeffe’s Master Press List, I’ve never seen so many people move around the industry. Changes go by the minute!

Found these ratty old Snoopy and Charlie Brown plush figures at a consignment shop in Adams Morgan. They seem pretty happy there at Joint Custody. Cool place, check it out.

If I could have coffee and breakfast on my Arlington porch every morning, everyday would be a happy one. 1 egg over-easy + alfalfa sprouts + organic tomatoes + gossip mags + hot coffee in Google mugs = Sunday morning bliss.
