Photographer and filmmaker Mark Bramley, while in Tokyo, he had 2 days to himself. Bramley took over 10,000 photos of the streets and infrastructure of Tokyo. The ramped Japanese metropolis is seen all through the lens of his Canon 5D MkII and fantastically edited to create a short but sweet 3-minute long time lapse video. While Bramley fancies himself mostly a car photographer, this work reveals that he truly has the eye for breathtaking filmmaking.

Finals Week is officially over (woohoo!) and I’ve realized that I’ve totally failed to keep up with the beauty routine. It all started during a last-minute ultra fast pace Photoshoot for ShopJeen.com’s first lookbook where I was doing hair and makeup without my grand collection of cosmetic weapons (eek!!). So I was forced to find alternatives to the following:

-concealer
-face primer
-lip liner (for red lip application!)
-hair texturizer/fly-away diffuser
-blush

I’m pretty sure at one point I used body lotion as lip stain remover. Slabbing some gross-tasting lotion & dabbing with toilet paper? Not the chicest but we made it work! The photos look great.

Anyway, I realize this post is only a lame mental note of the time investment I need to put back into the beauty of my Tumblr. And since finals are officially over, grades are in, and break is approaching I will catch up my digital footprint with all the pedicures it’s been missing.

Yesterday I found out that stylist, Kyle Anderson has just moved from ELLE to Marie Claire’s Accessories Director. After creating Aeffe’s Master Press List, I’ve never seen so many people move around the industry. Changes go by the minute!

If I could have coffee and breakfast on my Arlington porch every morning, everyday would be a happy one. 1 egg over-easy + alfalfa sprouts + organic tomatoes + gossip mags + hot coffee in Google mugs = Sunday morning bliss.
